At Lesmurdie Warriors Netball Club, our committee is made up of passionate volunteers who work together to keep our club running smoothly and create a fun, supportive environment for all players and members.

Our committee is made up of three types of roles:

Office Holders: These are the key leadership positions (such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) responsible for overseeing club operations and decision-making.

Ordinary Committee Members: These members attend meetings, contribute ideas, help make decisions, and assist with the general running of the club throughout the season.

Supporting Roles: These are vital volunteer positions that help with specific tasks or events but are not required to attend committee meetings. They provide valuable support behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

Together, these roles form the backbone of our club, ensuring that every season is organised, enjoyable, and successful for all our members.

About Lesmurdie Warriors

At Lesmurdie Warriors Netball Club Inc. we share a love of netball and aim to ensure sure that everybody can feel included and valued, whether a player, coach, parent or carer, a volunteer, or a supporter.

Our strong foundation was strengthened over 20+ years ago when the original Lesmurdie Netball Club merged with Walliston Netball Club, to build a more diverse community club. Community and inclusivity are still at the heart of our Club's values and ethics.

While we are proud of our past, we’re equally as focused on growing and developing all aspects of our club so that Lesmurdie Warriors can continue to play an important role in the City of Kalamunda strong sporting community. Giving all people from all age groups the opportunity to be part of a team, play, learn, grow and above all have fun through the game of netball!

OUR VALUES

Teamwork We believe all club members, from the players to the coaches & parents should be committed to supporting each other in the team’s endeavours. Team participation should enhance people’s natural enjoyment of sport and promote friendship.

Integrity We act in a fair, consistent, transparent and honest manner in all our actions. We believe in fair play, being humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

Respect We have thoughtfulness for the feelings, wishes, or rights of others – including teammates, coaches, umpires and the opposition irrespective of our differences – to create a friendly and welcoming club culture.

Community We believe in community spirit and being able to include a diverse group from all age groups and all background types.
